Sukaar Foundation is a leading humanitarian and development organization dedicated to transforming lives in Sindh Province for over 20 years. We specialize in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across WASH, food security, Nutrition, and livelihood, Alternative Energy Solutions, Business Development, and Community Empowerment. Our holistic approach strengthens community resilience by enhancing disaster coping strategies, improving livelihood sources, and advancing small and medium business development. We invest in community-led WASH infrastructure, foster self-help initiatives, and upgrade school facilities to be child- and girl-friendly. Additionally, we prioritize menstrual hygiene management, hygiene education, and comprehensive teacher training to create lasting impact.
Sukaar Foundation is a pioneer in designing and implementing cost-effective rainwater harvesting models at multiple levels from household to village/cluster level and in schools and government buildings.
SUKAAR’s extensive experience in emergency relief and recovery empowers the organization to respond swiftly and effectively to droughts, flash floods, fire Incidents, and other crises. SF provide critical support, including the distribution of non-food and food items, cooked meals, safe drinking water, and both temporary and permanent sanitation facilities. Our assistance extends to multipurpose cash aid, both conditional and unconditional, alongside hygiene and dignity kits, and innovative cash transfer voucher and token programs.
