Mr. Jhaman Das Hirani

Mr. Jhaman Das Hirani is having MPhil in Economics possesses more than 10 years of working with UN Agencies (UN WFP, UN Women), International and National NGOs (Concern Worldwide, NRSP) and grassroots organizations (SRSP and Sukaar Foundation). His core expertise includes Management, Food Security & Nutrition, Women Empowerment, WASH, Emergency Response, Livelihood Development, Climate Change Adaption, M&E and Disaster Risk Reductions. He possesses wider national and international exposure and multicultural experiences. His research papers include water scarcity and social problems of Tharparkar.

Mr. Teerath Kumar
Senior Programme Manager

Mr. Teerath Kumar a Rural Development Professional having more than 12 years’ extensive experience in the field of sustainable Natural Resource Management, biodiversity conservation, Drought Mitigation & Disaster Risk Reduction. He is being associated to the natural resource management in rural area of Sindh Pakistan, Community Based Rainwater Harvesting & ground water management activities, Drought Mitigation/preparedness & Disaster Risk Reduction activities. He intensively involved in capacity building of Community Based Organization (CBOs). He has expertise of designing, construction and management of watershed structures. While working on senior positions he is capable to understand nonprofit organization’s work culture and management.

Ms. Zoya Khan
Gender Focal Person

Having Master’s Degree in Sociology and has more than 05 years’ experience in development sector. She has excellent mobilization, capacity building, leadership, and facilitation, communication and report writing skills. She has also worked during emergency response during 2011 and 2012 during Flash Floods in Pakistan and supported vulnerable communities by providing food and non-food assistance programs. Moreover, she is a certified trainer from School of Leadership (SOL), Karachi. She is a social worker, event organizer, creative and innovative planer. She also has been involved in training, coaching and consulting for more than 3years, her focused areas are Project Management, Women Empowerment, Leadership Development, Personal-Development and Enterprise Development. As a Gender Focal Person in Sukaar Foundation, she has the role to support the Core Management, to carry out their responsibility to implement gender mainstreaming in the substantive work programme.
