  • The 17th meeting of District WASH Forum (DWF) was held on June 08, 2017 at Sukaar foundation Head Office @ Mithi,The meeting was chaired by Mr. Natho Khan Rahimon Deputy Director Social welfare District Tharparkar and was participated by representatives from I/NGO working in district Tharparkar including FRDP, SIF, RDA, CRS, PRC and WFP. The current status of WASH in District Tharparkar was discussed and Mr. Jhaman Hirani-COO SF gave the brief presentation on key highlights of WSP document.
  • Sukaar foundation with the financial assistance by RF-CWW is planning to assist 2000 drought affected families through providing livestock fodder in UC Dabho Nagarparkar.
  • WSP Tharparkar is to be approved by Chief Minister Sindh and be part of ADP.
  • Sukaar Foundation with the financial & technical assistance from WaterAid has developed first ever District level water security plan in Pakistan.
